Welcome to FAFSA Help Ohio – your resource for completing a FAFSA!

Current and future college students of all ages can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is the first step towards securing financial resources available for post-secondary education. By completing the FAFSA, your eligibility for federal and state grants, work-study opportunities, and low-interest loans will be determined by the financial aid offices at the schools/institutions where you’ve applied and have been accepted.

Filing the FAFSA for the 2021-2022 academic year begins on October 1, 2020.  This year may present a challenge as many school districts and colleges will operate in a virtual mode.  We hope the resources we compile can be helpful to you.

In an effort to make the FAFSA filing process as easy as possible, review the helpful Resources for Students & Parents we've gathered for you.

Looking for in-person and/or virtual help to complete your FAFSA? Opportunities are listed under FAFSA EventsDidn’t find a location or virtual option for your area? Check back often! New sites/virtual workshops are added often during prime FAFSA-filing season (October through December).
